Coach Limited Edition Jasmine Straw Basket Filled with Fragrance Line Accessories
Coach now has a limited edition gift basket filled with goodies from the new Fragrance Line. The bag is called the Jasmine Straw XL Basket Beach Purse. It’s one of the newbies recently introduced spring-summer 2007 Straw Basket Collections. Its designed hand woven straw with orange leather and snakeskin trim and topped off with the signature bold brass hardware. A chic tote for a day at the beach.

Really though you are not getting any special deal here. Once you add up the cost of all the Perfume Accessories with the price of the Straw Tote it equals exactly $1600. It just seems to me that when a label does this, it’s their attempt to get rid of their overstock.

Celebrities and their Jimmy Choo Foldover Clutch
First it was Victoria Beckham photographed all over LA and on a recent trip to England with the new Jimmy Choo Foldover Clutch, now it appears that Naomi Watts jumped on the purse-train and got her hands on this little stunner.

The Jimmy Choo Foldover is newbie on the store shelves. Its leather body is designed with a zip top closure that flaps down and snaps shut with a secure magnet for extra security. Other features include the detachable wrist strap, suede interior, and an exterior easy access zip pocket. Measurements: 9.5″ height x 13″ length x 2″ width. Price: $1,250. At this moment Saks.com only has the color black in stock, but hopefully in the near future they will get other colors in stock. For example, the Mave Blue! The black one is lovely, but have you seen this bag in the electric blue Mave color? Oh it is to kill die for!

Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring Outfit Under $1k
It has been so amazing outside the last couple days. It’s crazy. I feel like it’s already summer. So naturally, I’m in the mood to toss out my winter wardrobe and get my summer shopping on. Above is the perfect outfit.

When I first discovered this outfit in the spring 2007 catalog, I fell in love with the simple look and minimal price tag. It’s casual, not dressy at all and would make a fab outfit on a nice spring day. Also the price is totally amazing - the whole outfit together retails for under $1k - oh you can’t get much better then that from Marc Jacobs.

Someone Told Her That Her Design Was Ugly
Uh-hu… Looks like somebody over at Dooney & Bourke told little miss Emma Roberts that her original Emma Handbag was ugly.

Actually it looks like they made a line (called Madras) out of her patchwork idea then tossed out the rest of the bag and started over from scratch. The new and improved sausage-looking bag is made of buttery soft glove leather, with bridle leather trim and solid brass hardware. It comes in two sizes and ten colors, from basic black and brown to red, white, and marine blue.

The new and improved Emma Handbag line will soon be at Dooney.com.

Juicy Couture the Inflatable Floaty Tote
Does it float to? I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t carry around a bag that looks like a floaty. I guess I would be worried, since it is made of inflatable plastic bubbles, that it’s susceptible to getting deflated. The life expectancy for a floaty is not that many years. I would say months. Maybe not even a whole summer, depending on how frequently used. So could this bag, being how it is part of the floaty-family, not last the whole summer?

This floaty-bag retails for $65 and is available in 3 different variations – The first version of the bunch is the clear with the bold bright pink Juicy Couture logo. Then there is the trio of the USA colors red, white and blue. And finally the one pictured above with its stripes of green, pink and beige.

Chanel Forever Classic Diamond Purse
No competition, the House of Chanel handbags are indeed forever classic in all eyes of bagista’s.

This new Chanel Forever bag is definitely not the world’s most expensive purse, but is an expensive piece of arm candy. Remember the Louis Vuitton Miroir Palladium Gold Minaudiere Purse that retailed for a whopping $351,270? Or even better (err pricier) the $1.63 Million Platinum and Diamond Designer Purse. Although this bag without a doubt goes for more than your average classic Chanel bag. Ringing in at an astonishing $260,150 per pop this beauty is definitely an investment piece. Why? This sparkling piece contains 334 diamonds, gold hardware and a white alligator skin body. I’m sure if you are one of the lucky few who purchase this gem will never take it out of your safety deposit box or glass case. I sure wouldn’t.

Stella McCartney Felt and Plastic Bag
Fashion designer and PETA supporter Stella McCartney is known for never using leather or fur in her work, and most of the time you will see her plastic bags retailing for (around) $1k+.

One of the newest bags from her fall 2008 stock is this Felt Purse. The body of the bag is dressed in felt with shiny plastic trim and also features multi easy-access compartments and a small detachable purse (on a chain) with two small handles and buckle detail.

I do really love the style of Stella McCartney bags, but sometimes I just wish that they were made of different materials. Seriously the bag is made of Felt, as in the type of material that is probably stickered on the bottom of the chair you are sitting on to prevent from scuffing your wood floors (image of felt pads). And the trim is plastic. Is that wrong of me to say, “I’m more of a leather fan then of plastic?‿ I mean especially when it comes to me spending over $1k for bag. You can buy a plastic bag anywhere for way-way-less. But of course it wouldn’t be as functional and cute as the Stella Bags.
